Profile Design Extensions - 43 ASC | Carbon - 400mm

The main purpose of extensions is to position the hands in a comfortable relationship to the armrests of the aerobar, allowing riders to relax their arms. For the best possible performance and a customized fit for the individual user, Profile Design offers a variety of options that differ in angle, rise, length and offset.

Aero Shaped Carbon (ASC). Carbon fibers are not only easy to shape into an aerodynamic form, the result also offers an excellent level of strength and stiffness. Supported by CFD analyses, Profile Design has made use of these advantages in the development of the ASC extensions whose premise lies in a lateral shift (offset) that enables their front section to form a streamlined unit with the rider's arms. At the same time, the clamping diameter of 22.2 mm has been retained, ensuring compatibility with most conventional aerobars.

In the version with a grip angle of 43 degrees, the body of the extensions is not only turned upwards, but also outwards to create a shape that encloses the rider's arms as tightly as possible. This benefits the aerodynamics of the entire aerobar, while the Race+ or Ergo+ armrests (not included) are an ideal addition to ensure the necessary comfort.

All Profile Design extensions feature a clamping diameter of 22.2 mm. The 43 ASC extensions were designed with Profile Design's Aeroport adapters in mind, which allow a Shimano Di2 junction box (EW-RS910) and a battery (BT-DN110) with wire (EW-SD50) to be accommodated (each not included).
