SRAM Apex Eagle Groupset - 1x12-speed | D1

SRAM Apex Eagle Groupset - 1x12-speed | D1

Gravel, Bikepacking, Adventure, occasional touring and everything in between the SRAM Apex groupset knows how to have fun. The Apex components not only ensure smooth and reliable shifting, but also guarantee secure chain retention and controlled yet powerful braking performance. The Apex groupset is easy to understand and operate so that users can concentrate on what's important: the joy of riding.

Composition of the SRAM Apex Eagle groupset:

  • DB-APX-D1 | hydraulic Apex disc brakes:
brake lever (left) & DoubleTap® brake/shift lever (right) + brake caliper (Flat Mount, front/rear)
  • FC-APX-1W-D1 | Apex 1 crankset (DUB™)
  • RD-APX-152-D1 | Apex Eagle rear derailleur
  • CS-PG-1230-A1 | Eagle cassette (PG-1230, 11-50 teeth)
  • CN-EAGL-NX-A1 | NX Eagle chain (incl. PowerLock™ chain connector)

Adapters and bottom bracket cups are not included. These can be ordered separately.

The Apex disc brake system not only stands out with its powerful hydraulic brake caliper, but also offers maximum comfort and control thanks to its ergonomic dropbar levers. Although the left brake lever does not have a shifting mechanism at all, it is in no way inferior in terms of functionality to the right DoubleTap® shift/brake lever. Accordingly, both impress with the possibility of adjusting the grip width as well as their revised grip body shape.

The gear range of the Eagle series on a road handlebar? The Apex Eagle rear derailleur combines the best of SRAM's road and mountain bike innovations in one package. The X-Horizon™ rear derailleur not only shifts quietly, but also quickly across the 12 gears of the Eagle cassette, while the Roller Bearing Clutch™ guarantees improved drivetrain stability. Also reliable at any time is the NX Eagle chain which offers smooth and efficient shifting in addition to its durable Solid Pin construction.

In many disciplines, a single chainring is all it takes. The Apex 1 crankset, combined with the huge range of the PG-1230 cassette, gives the right gear ratio for any kind of adventure. While the elegant and stable X-SYNC™ chainring ensures perfect chain management, the PowerGlide II cassette holds everything the Eagle ecosystem has to offer in terms of climbing gear range.
