The Supernova MINI 3 PRO with impressive high beam is now significantly more powerful than its predecessor and offers particularly even and wide light distribution with the newly developed TERRAFLUX 5 lens technology. Over 200 micro-optics enable a super-homogeneous 450-lumen low beam and an extremely bright 1100-lumen high beam.

The daytime running light with its own optical element has a highly visible light signature. An automatic sensor switches seamlessly between daytime running light and low beam for maximum visibility and comfort, whether on busy roads or dark country lanes. The high-quality aluminum housing also ensures superior cooling.

Supernova is the first manufacturer to launch an approved high beam for bikes. Since the new legislation came into force, high beams have been one of the most important innovations in the bike lighting industry. In addition to their literal range, high beams offer enormous illumination and increase safety many times over. For the first time, approved bike lights offer lighting for unclear terrain, where cyclists can more quickly perceive hanging branches, signs, junctions, and pedestrians with poor visibility – no matter how steep and winding the trail! The Supernova high beam has an extremely wide beam angle. This ensures excellent perception of the surroundings, which also makes the other advantages described below possible.

One problem is particularly common with MTBs: they often have long suspension travel, which compresses especially when braking, reducing the light range by up to 90% in some cases. Supernova's special high beam is optimized to provide a particularly large amount of light above the light-dark boundary, compensating for fork movement and maintaining visibility of the trail. When approaching the trail in the city, you can ride without glare in low beam mode. As soon as needed, the high beam can be switched on at the touch of a button. 

TERRAFLUX 5 LENS

TERRAFLUX 5 technology provides powerful yet eye-friendly lighting. The wide light carpet offers excellent illumination – in the near field as well as to the side and towards the horizon. An increased beam angle allows the light to cover the outer edges of the illuminated area even better and thus also illuminate curves more brightly. Thanks to the smooth transitions, however, the light is distributed very evenly and is easy on the eyes. The improved performance in all areas compared to previous TERRAFLUX models is achieved by 200 high-precision micro-optics. These are part of a main lens, which is integrated with other lenses in a multi-stage optical system. This is the only way to optimally distribute the light from the LED emitters to the desired areas of use.
