The key innovations of the new EQUIPE RS shorts are a new fabric and a new insert. The new fabric, Type.911, made it possible to completely revise the cut, reduce the number of seams and folds and at the same time optimize the fit on the legs and waist.
It also allowed Assos to eliminate the rollbar bib design, as Type.911 is more elastic and compressive than Type.411, which was used in the previous generation. The S11 shorts are no longer just suspended from the bib straps, but wrap around the rider's body with omnidirectional, body-hugging stability. The upper of the new RS S11 insert is softer and more wash-resistant and features improved odor control, while retaining the cooling airflow, micro-shock absorption and lightweight profile of its predecessor.
The next generation of Assos' flagship WorldTour bib shorts, redesigned with reduced weight, increased cooling breathability and more comfortable, body-hugging compression from the waist to the open-cut leg openings. Available in standard or long (+3cm) leg length.
