The stove is designed to be easy to use even when wearing gloves. Three stable adjustable feet and the low center of gravity form a stable unit on all surfaces. The hard-anodized aluminium pot with integrated heat exchanger is adapted to the burner and offers additional stability and easy handling.

The burner's technology is based on catalytic combustion and infrared radiation, creating a 10,000 BTU (3000 W) heat source that boils water quickly and efficiently in any weather. The reliable burner also features a pressure regulator to boil in the most extreme environments.

The stove also offers a compact pack size. The retractable feet hold the hose and valve at the bottom of the burner, which fits into the smallest of the three pots (1L) together with a 100g gas cartridge. The lid is held in place by the handle to lock the system together for a rattle-free, packable unit. All packed together, this provides a protective cover for the burner.

The Ulti Stove System 1.0L feeds 1-2 people, while the 1.7L version is best suited for 2-3 people. A larger 2.7L pot (sold separately) is suitable for a slightly larger group or when it is important to melt snow. All three pot sizes can be nested together with the burner.
