POC Cytal Carbon Helmet - 1002 Uranium Black

The Cytal Carbon is the result of the constant search for new ways to maximise performance and safety. The road cycling helmet introduces new methods and technologies to deliver speed and safety.

Using production methods currently only seen on luxury sports cars, POC has integrated a carbon wing into the helmet, enhancing its aero properties, keeping weight low and supporting more even impact force distribution across the whole helmet.

The introduction of new modelling and simulation methods during the design process opened up new possibilities to test designs and push what is possible in a helmet, in terms of balancing speed, safety and performance. The result: a new approach to what keeps you safe.

The helmet is more open at the front, improving air entry into the helmet for better ventilation and reduced drag. An adjustment system spanning from the temples and around the back of the head makes it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit.

• Lightweight: The helmet is lightweight, tipping the scales at 250g in a size M.
• Lightweight PC Shell: The exterior PC shell is molded to the helmet liner for enhanced structural stability.
• Optimised EPS liner: The EPS liner is optimised for performance, giving extra protection in the zones it is needed most.
