Modern version of the conventional chain whip. Pins on the tool grip the smallest sprocket in the set and hold it in place, while the center opening allows easy access to the cassette puller. The version for sprockets with 11 and 12 teeth has longer pins on the "12-tooth side". This makes it suitable for cassettes where the two smallest sprockets have 10 and 12 teeth. When removing sprocket sets in which the smallest sprocket has 10 teeth, the tool reaches over this and engages in the 12-tooth sprocket.
