Petzl Neox Belay Device - orange

It makes belaying almost more fun than climbing! The NEOX is a belay device with blocking support for indoor and rock climbing. It is ideal for lead climbing, as an integrated wheel ensures even rope flow and fast rope payout. The ergonomic lever makes it easy to control the descent. It is designed for use on single ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm.

Features of the Petzl Neox

Belay device with blocking support by clamping cams, optimized for lead climbing:

• For lead and top-rope climbing.
• Thanks to the integrated wheel, the device is optimized for lead climbing, the rope runs smoothly and can be quickly and easily deployed.
• Securing comfort thanks to blocking support from clamping cams: If the climber falls or rests, the rope tightens and the wheel locks. The clamping cam then turns and grips the rope to block it.

Easy handling:

• The engraved markings on the belay device make it easier to insert the rope.
• Same handles as with all Petzl belay devices: The rope is fed into the device and one hand is always on the brake rope.
• The blocking support by means of clamping cams: allows a large tolerance of the hand position on the brake rope regardless of the angle between the rope facing the climber and the brake rope.
• Compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for diameters from 8.9 to 10.5 mm.

Controls the descent:

• Comfortable handling and easy release of the rope using the ergonomically shaped lever.
• Three times higher force transmission of the lever for better control of rope passage with small diameters and less effort required to operate the lever with large rope diameters,

Environmentally friendly design:

• All plastic components (including the lever) are made from recycled polyamide.
