Wider, softer, stronger - this is the third generation of the popular VHS Slapper Tape!

The VHS 3.0 comes with an improved design, optimized materials, improved adhesives and a new iconic packaging.

A major improvement over the 2.0 tape is the increased footprint from 70mm to 140mm. This eliminates any exposed edges that could catch on shoes.

Installation

• Remove your existing chainstay protector (including a protective film).
• Clean the chainstay thoroughly to remove dirt and old adhesive.
• Then wash with isopropyl alcohol to get everything sparkling clean. Avoid using household cleaners, as these often contain silicone, which prevents the adhesive from sticking.
• Test the length of the VHS tape and cut it to size if necessary.
• Peel off the middle backing film, align the tape and press it evenly onto the frame. Then tape the other two sides one after the other to ensure a clean result.
• Let it cure for at least 30 minutes before riding, up to 6 hours in humid conditions.
• Leftover pieces can be used for other small areas.
