The DT SWiss 240 hybrid hub is equipped with special components such as the DT Swiss Ratchet EXP OS system with 30 teeth to reliably transfer muscle and motor power to the ground. The bearing on the drive side and the hub flange have been enlarged. The spoke holes, which have also been enlarged, are specially designed to accommodate the reinforced spokes with a diameter of 2.34 mm from DT Swiss. These can withstand the higher loads that occur during acceleration and braking. In addition, the freehub system made of hardened steel improves the hub's resistance and thus enables longer, carefree eMTB tours.
