Details about the Squeezy Energy Gel

The energy requirements of the muscles during endurance exercise can no longer be adequately met by the body after 90 minutes at the latest. Modern formulations such as Squeezy Energy Gel cover this need and supply the body with complex carbohydrates and minerals. The variants with caffeine also give the athlete an extra kick if desired, which motivates and strengthens mentally. Ideal for long-distance running (half marathon, marathon, ultra), triathlon, duathlon, cycling, winter sports such as skating and cross-country skiing and many more. Each product contains several sources of carbohydrates that provide the body with energy in the short and medium term. Salt and potassium replace the energy lost through sweating.

Depending on individual performance and external factors such as temperature and the nature of the course and, of course, the type of sport practiced, the energy requirements of each athlete vary.

Average carbohydrate requirement of an athlete:

• Basic endurance 1: Training is completed at a heart rate of approx. 60 to 70 % of max. heart rate. 30-40g carbohydrates / hour
• Basic endurance 2: Training/competition is completed at a heart rate of approx. 70 to 80 % of the maximum heart rate. 40-80g carbohydrates / hour

Please follow the recommended intake of the Squeezy Energy Gel Dispenser. Squeezy recommends the consumption of 1/4 to max. 3/4 dispenser per hour (professional athletes), depending on the load. The combination with energy drinks is of course possible without any problems. In this case, less gel should be consumed.
