With waterproof jackets like the Idro being lighter and more compact than ever, we thought it was time to redefine a classic. In fact, the Aria Shell Jacket is very different from your flimsy old jacket that either didn't protect you or wasn't breathable.

This jacket here is an incredibly lightweight mid-layer that keeps the wind off the front of your body while allowing ample breathability through the mesh side panels. But what you'll really appreciate is how we use the stretch panels on the sides and back of the sleeves to make this jacket fit like a second skin: no flappy material, no cold air circulating inside the jacket, no more throwback to the Armstrong era.

This jacket is light and warm enough to wear for the entire ride in mild conditions, but when you want to take it off, it fits in the integrated side pocket and can be stuffed into your jersey pocket or a saddle bag for minimal bulk.

An extremely lightweight, stowable wind jacket with a close fit thanks to breathable stretch inserts. This allows you to extend the temperature range of your favorite Castelli jersey.
