Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is widely known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. They grow about 10 times as many hairs per square meter as the average sheep. As a result, the wool is thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their fur acts as a heat regulator. Merino wool therefore keeps you warm in the cold, but is still breathable. In addition, merino wool has excellent moisture management and self-cleaning properties, so you won't easily suffer from sweat stains and odors on your clothes.

Polyamide, also known as nylon, is a synthetic material made from petroleum. Polyamide is a strong fabric that does not tear or crease easily. It is light, elastic, easy to fold and dries quickly. One disadvantage of polyamide is that it does not absorb moisture well.
