The brake levers of the Claris R2000 series are not only ideal for bikes with a flat handlebar, but are also compatible with a wide range of brake caliper types: New Super SLR side-pull brakes, V-Brakes, Cantilever brakes and mechanical disc brake calipers. The BL-R2000 brake levers are equipped with 2.5-finger lever blades made of anodized aluminum, an option for grip width adjustment and an ambidextrous brake cable adjustment.

New Super SLR | SLR stands for Shimano Linear Response. Based on a smoother operation of the brake caliper, lever and cable, the current Super SLR technology optimizes both the response and the modulation of the brake. At the same time, the SLR system is the decisive factor for the superior braking power of Shimano's Dual Pivot side-pull brakes compared to conventional models.
