The Base Layer 4 has been taken to a new level by improving the seamless knit technology through the introduction of two smart fabrics: Emana® and Hollow Fiber™.
Features of the Q36.5 Base Layer 4 Plus long sleeve undershirt for men
- Emana® yarn is an organic, ceramic polyamide yarn that improves microcirculation and oxygenation during physical activity, allowing for better thermoregulation and moisture exchange.
- To increase thermal capabilities while maintaining a low bulk, Hollow Fiber™ was introduced, which provides functional insulation and reduced water exposure thanks to the hollow core structure that traps warm air.
- The base layer has greater elasticity and less resistance to movement in all directions as the seamless warp knitting machine is able to eliminate seams on all parts of multiple tubes (with the exception of a small connecting seam at the top of the shoulders). This is unlike other base layers, which typically require stitches to join the sleeves to the body and are also hemmed.
- The proprietary "honeycomb" pattern of the knit is used in various densities and is coupled with open mesh sections that map the heat requirements and regional perspiration rates of an athlete's body. This not only allows for ideal rider comfort and protection, but also a significant reduction in product volume wherever possible.
- The 115g weight is the result of the design, it was not a goal.
This piece of equipment is best suited for temperatures above -3 °C.
