The flow-oriented cooling fins in the forged and CNC-machined aluminum housing significantly increase the surface area and ensure optimum cooling with a maximum output of 21 W and extremely slim dimensions. ADVANTAGE OF HIGH BEAM FOR CORNERING ILLUMINATION

Supernova uses a special high beam with an extra-large aperture angle, which ensures improved illumination above the main light cone in particular, so that signs and hanging branches, for example, are illuminated much better. This also improves cornering illumination immensely! With standard headlights that only have a dipped beam function, the dipped beam tilts to the side when cornering, so that an important part of the bend is no longer illuminated. The greatly increased luminosity of the Supernova high beam, on the other hand, shines far beyond the glare horizon and illuminates the bend. This results in a much improved illumination of the road when cornering and therefore an enormous increase in safety for the cyclist.

HIGH BEAM PROVIDES COMPENSATION WHEN THE SUSPENSION FORK DIPS

The problem is particularly well known with MTBs: These often have long suspension travel that dips, especially when braking, so that the headlight range is sometimes reduced by up to 90%. Supernova's special high beam is optimized so that a particularly large amount of light is available above the cut-off line, so that fork movement is compensated for and visibility of the trail is maintained. On the approach to the trail in the city, you can ride glare-free in low beam mode. As soon as required, the high beam can be switched on at the touch of a button.
