Profile Design Extensions - 39AH | Aluminum - 365mm

The main purpose of extensions is to position the hands in a comfortable relationship to the armrests of the aerobar, allowing riders to relax their arms. For the best possible performance and a customized fit for the individual user, Profile Design offers a variety of options that differ in angle, rise, length and offset.

The 39AH extensions were designed for aerobars which, unlike the Profile Design models, cannot be tilted. This problem can be solved with the help of the so-called "pad wedges" (not included), which the 39AH extensions are designed to be used with. These start with a total angle of 54 degrees, which can be reduced to 44 degrees (wedge with 10 degrees) or the eponymous 39 degrees (wedge with 15 degrees) by adding the wedges. The grip area is long enough to be shortened for use with the 10 degree wedges. Like the other aluminum extensions from Profile Design, the 39AH model also features an aerodynamic shape in the ascending grip segment as well as a lateral shift (offset) of 7.5 mm.

All Profile Design extensions feature a clamping diameter of 22.2 mm. There are no separate exit openings for cables and wires, as the design provides a direct routing at the end of the extensions. The 39AH extensions are not suitable for Profile Design handlebars and aerobars, as the "pad wedges" are not compatible with Profile Design "bracket" mounts.
