Profile Design has developed the Subsonic Ergo 39a aerobar for riders who want to achieve a lower position than it is possible with conventional models. This results in a narrower fit that allows even the smallest possible hole to be cut into the wind. In contrast to other low-stack aerobar models, the Subsonic also allows fine-tuning of the stack height so that users are not limited to just one arm pad height. The necessary comfort is provided by 39a extensions, which feature a correspondingly convenient angle and rise, as well as by the arm-friendly Ergo armrests, which enclose the rider tightly ensuring the best possible control at high speeds.
Taking into account the complex geometries of modern frames, the Subsonic aerobar bracket combines a slim design with a stack that is significantly lower than at the rest of the Sonic ranges. At the same time, the grip width and flexible adjustability in width are retained. The Ergo armrests are no less variable, offering 80 different fit options by sliding and turning them. By adding risers (not included), there are even up to 1200 possible configurations. And thanks to the design as a clip-on aerobar, the angle of the extensions can also be adjusted. The extensions themselves offer an configurable length of 40 mm and can be rotated around the longitudinal axis using a shaft bolt.
