Lake CX239-X Wide Road Shoes Men - white/black

The CX239 is the latest version of Lale's most popular road shoe. This new development takes over many of the features of the successful CX333 and now comes with an integrated tongue on the medial part of the upper for a firmer hold of the foot. It also features a fiberglass-reinforced internal heel counter for a firmer heel hold. In addition, the distance between the BOA® dials is wider for better zone adjustment along the length of the shoe. The CX239 takes one of Lake's most popular cycling shoes to a whole new level of comfort and performance.

CX/TX Competition last

With a profile specifically designed for very high cadence and higher pressure riding, the Competition last has a more arched profile than the Sport last. Key differences include a wider toe box and heel lift, a narrower heel and a slightly wider ball of the foot to allow the foot to expand under high pedal pressure.

Lake Competition sole

Sole made from 100% carbon fiber. Available in a 3-hole lug pattern. Comfortable, lightweight and stylish.

Upper

This latest high-performance road cycling shoe is made from water-repellent and breathable Ecco premium leather. The upper is stylish and sleek, has minimized seams and is form-fitting, so the shoe gives you a glove-like feel and adapts perfectly to your foot over time. The heel panel and the rubber bumper in the toe area protect the upper material from scratches and scuffs. The temperature-regulating Outlast lining on the heel and tongue provides a luxurious underfoot feel while offering a breathable, durable and firm hold on the foot.

BOA® Fit closure

The BOA® Fit closure offers a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and is designed to withstand abrasion and dirt.
