The MX239 MTB shoe features a new, fiberglass-reinforced heel counter for a more stable heel hold and has a wider gap between the two BOA® dials to allow for better zone adjustment in the forefoot. MX Competition last

With a larger toe box and narrower heel than the Comfort Plus last and slightly more overall volume than the Sport last. Exceptionally secure for hard riding/racing with enough room in the toe box to prevent pinching when you're running up climbs or tackling those tricky technical sections, while the wider toe box gives your feet a more natural fit and platform. The Lake MX Competition last maximizes your performance when adventuring off-road or racing on rough terrain - for as long as your adventures last.

Lake Competition Sole

The MX239 is equipped with the Lake Competition sole made of 100% carbon fiber and the Mountain Competition sole made of real rubber and has extended protection for excellent ground stability. This added outsole protection helps to ensure stability on all types of surfaces while allowing you to deliver the necessary performance on the pedals. The rubber extends over the front edge of the shoe and offers you important protection against wear and tear on loose surfaces.

Upper

This latest high-performance off-road shoe features Helcor leather uppers with mesh and Outlast heel lining. The abrasion-resistant Helcor leather is specially developed to protect against friction, scratches and wear. Your foot is enveloped in legendary Lake comfort. The temperature-regulating Outlast lining in the heel and tongue area provides a luxurious underfoot feel while ensuring a breathable, durable and firm hold on the foot.
