The Rab Alpine models are specially designed for the mountains, whether on high-altitude adventures on foot or in the saddle of a bike in the Alps or deep in the Himalayas. The Alpine 200 with its good warmth-to-weight ratio and low bulk design is perfect for summer mountain adventures. It has a filling of 200 g duck down with 650 cuin and a wind-resistant Pertex® Quantum outer fabric with recycled nylon lining.

Details

The cleverly designed Alpine down sleeping bag impresses with maximum thermal performance. The trapezoidal box wall chamber construction allows the down to puff out completely. This means that cold bridges have virtually no chance and warmth is maximized. The herringbone chamber construction improves the stability of the down and envelops the whole body evenly.

The openings of the Alpine sleeping bag are also designed to minimize the amount of body heat that can escape; the cosy 3D down collar can be cinched up and traps the warmth. A down-filled wind protection chamber along the length of the zipper prevents body heat from escaping. The Alpine with its narrow mummy shape and angled foot area is not unnecessarily bulky and heavy, but ensures a comfortable night's sleep.

All Rab down sleeping bags are filled by hand in Great Britain; the down is not compressed before use, so that its loft and warmth are retained.

Pertex® Quantum-Fabric

Pertex® Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to create a lightweight and soft fabric that maximizes insulation. It has a down-proof construction and DWR impregnation and is soft to the touch. It is also pleasantly lightweight, packs down small and offers reliable protection from wind and weather.
