Concerning the choice of crank arm lengths, Alugear is guided by the trends in the mountain bike segment, some of which are subject to considerable change. The result is the provision of shorter crank arms, which are designed for use in disciplines that require improved control, maneuverability and stability off-road. The perfect alignment with the respective application is achieved in combination with the crankshafts (not included), which are also available in various lengths, covering the spectrum from XC to Enduro to Downhill. The SRAM 8-Bolt interface is suitable for attaching 1-speed Direct Mount chainrings and is also compatible with corresponding power meter spiders.
