An ultra-robust, forged and CNC-machined chromoly steel axle is used. The fully serviceable triple bearing system consists of a self-lubricating LSL bushing, a needle bearing and an industrial roller bearing. Quadruple seals ensure that the innards remain dry under all conditions. The double-sided clip-in system is compatible with classic SPD cleats. The retention system has an adjustable spring tension for fine-tuning the entry and exit while offering 5 degrees of clearance. The large platform around the clip-in system provides solid shoe support for optimal control and power transfer. The pedal is tested and certified according to the EFBE EPAC Gravity TRI-TEST® standard (category 5).
