• Before training/competition: Maurten can be used as a carbo-loader before competitions. A simple option is to drink a Drink Mix 320 the day before the competition.
• During training/competition: The amount of carbohydrates required depends on various factors. One of these is the duration of the training. For longer training sessions of less than two hours, one Drink Mix 320 is sufficient. For training sessions of more than two hours, one Drink Mix 320 per hour can be taken.
• After training/competition: After a race or hard training, the body needs carbohydrates for effective recovery. One Drink Mix Pro 320 can be taken within 30 minutes after the end of the session.
• Maurten recommended use: Mix the contents of each sachet with 500 ml of water and shake well until dissolved. Make sure the ratio is correct for the hydrogel technology to work. The mixture is designed for water with a calcium content of less than 80 mg/L. Higher values may impair dissolution.
