A New Era - METRON RS

Vision is ready to unveil its first all-carbon wheelset. With this launch, the brand is officially positioning itself in direct competition with the most prominent and long-established wheel manufacturers.

The Metron RS (Racing Series) is now available with rims in 37, 45, and 60mm widths. Featuring a full-carbon rim, carbon spokes, and the new V-1000 hub with PRS technology, the Metron RS is built for victory. Extensive CFD analyses and wind tunnel tests using Vision’s most advanced carbon technology, combined with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, elevate this handcrafted wheelset to a new level.       

Full Carbon Construction

A hand-built wheel with a full-carbon rim and spokes, manufactured using state-of-the-art production processes.

PRS Hub System

The spiral ratchet clutch with 72 teeth corresponds to an engagement angle of 5 degrees. This results in 24% faster engagement compared to previous Vision freewheels with 6 pawls and the DT model with 54 teeth/6.6 degrees. The PRS system increases durability while simultaneously reducing power loss during engagement under load.
