- New and improved G-GRIP™: Inov-8 has reformulated their graphene-enriched G-GRIP™ rubber to increase its slip resistance on wet surfaces compared to the first generation of the TRAILFLY™ series. The innovative use of graphene extends the life of the rubber outsole, so you can enjoy reliable grip and incredible durability on both dry and wet surfaces.
- Lug pattern optimized for hard and rocky surfaces: 4mm graphene-enriched rubber lugs are carefully arranged in multiple directions to improve grip, quickly repel debris, increase propulsion from the toes and help you brake with your heel.
- New and improved POWERFLOW PRO midsole: With the next generation of TRAILFLY™ shoes, Inov-8 has taken the opportunity to further improve the POWERFLOW PRO midsole. This super-lightweight foam offers a high level of cushioning while providing the ground feel needed for running on uneven, technical terrain. We've also made the foam slightly firmer to extend the life of the shoe.
- Improved upper: All V2 shoes in the TRAILFLY™ series now have an improved upper. Stronger KPU overlays replace the 3D print overlays of the first generation TRAILFLY™ models and offer more protection and durability. There are also additional drainage holes to drain water as quickly as possible and a new, slimmer speed tongue.
- NATURALFIT™: Inov-8's shoes provide a secure heel and midfoot fit for more control and security. They are cut wider in the toe area so that the toes can spread out and move naturally. This allows you to feel the ground better and realize your full, natural potential.

The 4mm rubber lugs of the TRAILFLY™ series provide excellent performance on hard, rocky trails, and thanks to Inov-8's innovative infusion of graphene into the rubber, you can cover hundreds, if not thousands of kilometers with them. An improved POWERFLOW PRO midsole provides bounce and more stability, increasing the durability of the foam when you're training hard on inviting, flowing trails.
Further improvements have been made to the upper of the shoe, which has been given tougher KPU overlays to make it more resistant to tears from rocks and vegetation.
