Details of the TRP Trail EVO HD-M843 disc brake

During the development of the brake caliper, the material thickness was increased in key areas to improve rigidity and optimize heat management. The brake caliper is made from forged and CNC-milled aluminum and is equipped with four pistons to guarantee maximum performance. The brake pads made of resin with a long service life and low noise levels also ensure good braking performance. These can be replaced quickly and easily thanks to the toploader design.

Furthermore, the usable brake disc thickness has been increased to 2.3 mm, which reduces operating heat and minimizes the risk of warped rotors. This also reduces the risk of brake pads glazing due to excessive temperatures and the risk of functional failure.

In addition to the ergonomic lever with external reach adjustment, a master brake cylinder made of a special stainless steel composite material ensures precise and sensitive deceleration. In addition to a folding clamp on the brake lever, a 1900 mm long and extremely robust brake hose with banjo connections and heat-resistant mineral oil ensure clean and safe installation.
