The VEGA crank arms from Alugear are precision-manufactured using the latest CNC technology and offer a perfect balance between stiffness, weight and durability. The high-performance components have been carefully developed for use on the road, on gravel paths and in cyclocross races. With their high-quality construction and aesthetics, they meet the requirements of the modern cyclist – from the adventurous explorer to the professional competition rider.

Made from aerospace-grade aluminum, the crank arms are characterized by exceptional strength and durability, which not only benefits longevity but also reliability. Whether for training, racing or demanding terrain, the VEGA crank arm set can take a beating. Equipped with a SRAM 8-Bolt interface, the crank arms are suitable for mounting Direct-Mount chainrings as well as power meter spiders and are compatible with both 1-speed and 2-speed drivetrains.

Alugear offers the VEGA models in a variety of biomechanically optimized crank arm lengths to meet not only the preferences of the riders, but also the high demands on ergonomics and performance. The advantages of shorter arm lengths lie in the more compact riding position, which reduces air resistance and increases speed accordingly. In addition, the joints are less stressed due to the reduced knee flexion, which reduces the risk of injury, especially in long-distance use. In turn, a more even cadence improves comfort and efficiency on any terrain.

• Powermeter Ready, compatible with all 8-hole spiders (Quarq DFour/DZero AXS, RED XPLR AXS etc.)

Notes relevant to assembly:

• crank bolt: 8 mm hexagon socket (torque: max. 55 Nm), right-hand thread on drive side / left-hand thread on non drive side
• screws for 8-Bolt interface: Torx T20 (torque: max. 4 Nm)
• screw for adjustment ring: 2.5 mm hexagon socket (torque: 2 Nm)
• cassette lockring tool required for integrated puller (torque: max. 20 Nm)
• recommended torque for pedal axles: 35 to 40 Nm (observe the pedal manufacturer's instructions)
• observe notes on the use of crank spacers (see figures 9 and 10)
