Standard hitch: a forged standard hitch has been included with all Burley trailers since model year 2009. It fits almost all standard bikes with quick release and solid axles and is also suitable for bikes with disc brakes. Not suitable for frames with dropouts in the Breezer design. The coupling piece is simply mounted between existing quick release and frame and then remains permanently on the wheel. The coupling piece is also available separately for other bikes. The trailer itself is coupled with a pin made of a special rubber compound and secured with a safety strap and cotter pin. This flexible connection technology neutralizes vibrations and other disturbing influences. The already high tipping safety of the trailers from Burley is thus increased even more.
