Continuing on with the revolutionization of the winter soft shell jacket, the Dottore Termica Mediterranea finetunes the coldest weather jacket, the Q36.5 Termica, for milder, more ”Mediterranean” winter conditions.

The jacket offers a host of new, advanced, features including ventilated construction, graphenefiber inner vest, hermetic double collar construction and a new weight of the ultralight air insulation to create a truly radical piece of equipment for riders who love being as light and compact as possible in winter, pushing their gear to its very limits of versatility and thermal range. Like the original Termica jacket, the most characteristic feature of the Termica Mediterranea is its built-in vest, here made from the ultralight Clima fabric and the Q36.5 Official Research Scientist radar graphic. The use of such a lightweight and fast-drying fabric makes wearing the jacket open the perfect option for long climbs or intense interval training.

The shell of the jacket uses the microporous membrane utilized throughout the shell range bonded to a lightweight nylon fabric, which like all the fabrics has a particularly low rate of moisture absorption for faster drying times. The inner face of the shell is a lighter weight of the already ultralight Air Insulation, bonded to the membrane in such a way as to allow the space between layers to capture air and thus create a further thermal barrier and allowing Q36.5 to generate further thermal protection with less material whilst remaining more compact than the Q36.5 Gregarius Winter jacket

Another new feature that emphasizes the active thermoregulatory function of the jacket, allowing it to compensate continuous changes in body or ambient temperatures, are the four vents strategically placed across the chest and back of the body. These vents offer a thermal exchange with the inside of the jacket, allowing for superior circulation of humidity from the inside of the jacket, keeping you dryer for longer.
