Polartec® Alpha® is an innovative insulation developed for intensive winter activities such as cross-country skiing, ski touring or trail running. During these activities, athletes are often exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations without much opportunity to shed layers. Polartec® Alpha® combines warmth, packability and extreme breathability like no other insulation and is therefore perfect for the needs of all cyclists when combined with a lightweight windbreaker. Mavic have combined Polartec® Alpha® insulation with their best in-house windproof fabric. Extremely lightweight, stretchy and water repellent - the perfect combination to enhance the performance of our Ksyrium Alpha® jackets and vests.
