Mavic Ceramic: High-quality bearing materials, first-class performance

Thanks to their special properties, ceramic bearings allow ball bearings to spin slightly faster and are more durable. Together with high-quality ceramic material, Mavic uses high-quality low-density grease combined with extremely smooth seals.

Aero Wide Rim: Unmatched combination of speed, control, and comfort.

The wider rims ensure a seamless transition from rim to tire, reducing micro-turbulence. Rolling resistance is significantly lower, resulting in superior handling in crosswinds. Thanks to the wider but shorter contact patch and lower tire pressure, the tire is smoother and faster even on rough terrain.

FORE: Stiffer, high-precision, and durable rim/spoke connection with practical tubeless advantages

The lower rim flange is threaded to accommodate the spokes directly at the correct angle. This creates a stiff connection, the spokes do not move (fewer spoke breaks), and the upper rim flange remains undrilled, making it 100% airtight for easy tubeless mounting.
