Chris King Lock Ring - Centerlock | External Spline - matte jade

Chris King components are characterized not only by their attractive appearance, but also by their quality and functionality. The Centerlock locking rings are of course no exception and represent in this way a matching counterpart to the wheels of the renowned manufacturer.

Featuring the classic "King" laser mark, the anodized aluminum lock rings are also the perfect complement to the headsets and rims from Portland. The fact that Chris King has spent a lot of time on the precise design of this component is not only evident in the subtle design of the front, but also in the knurling on the back. Its specific shape ensures that the locking ring ring is easily screwed on, but cannot come loose.

Compatibility notes: In terms of dimensions, the Chris King locking ring corresponds to the Shimano standard with a 4 mm thick flange and an outer diameter of 44 mm. Thanks to its externally toothed design, the lock ring is compatible with all MTB-specific forks and frames, but is also suitable for most road bike models. However, some road bike forks and frames require the slimmer, internally toothed lock rings. For installation, the manufacturer recommends the TBB004 bottom bracket tool for components with external spline (available separately).
