The Vaporfly 4 has reduced unnecessary weight in the midsole, outsole and upper without compromising performance. The result is a lighter, snappy all-round competition shoe that you can rely on from the first kilometer to the marathon. The specially designed mesh reduces the weight of the shoe and provides a more consistent fit. And Nike has saved even more weight by reducing the size of the heel and tongue. The full-length carbon fiber flyplate has a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3 and, combined with a lower drop from heel to toe, gives you the drive unit you need on race day.
