GTS like Gravel Tourer Speed: For light gravel and road

The Aristos GTS is the sportier version of the new GT - S stands for Speedgravel. Like its brothers CX and R Speedgravel, the GTS is optimized for speed thanks to its more compact geometry and straight seat stays. This means that the focus of the GTS is more on the road and rather light gravel, also because tires can only be fitted in a width of 25 to a maximum of 35 millimetres.

There are also various touring options on the GTS - but compared to the GT, there are no threaded eyelets for luggage on the top tube and fork, and it is not possible to attach fixed mudguards. However, a luggage rack can be fitted - the sporty, reduced "Gravel Light" rack is recommended here. There are also outlets on the seat tube and chainstay for the cables of an electric gearshift.

The appearance: both classic and extremely modern at the same time

The geometry of the GTS is based on the Aristos RS Speedgravel, perfectly combining classic elements with integration. The rear triangle and fork are designed for 28" wheels, for tire widths of up to 35 millimetres, and there is no provision for a fixed mudguard mount. The tubes of the frame are rounder than on the RS Speedgravel, which not only ensures a more "classic" look, but also makes the lower price possible, as the double or triple butted tubes used here are cheaper than tube sets with multiple forming, as used on the Aristos RS Speedgravel, for example.

Like the GT, the GTS comes with a carbon fork, for reasons of both price and weight. A special feature of the new fork is the complete cable integration and the adaptation of the fork crown to the dimensions of the head tube. This gives the front end the appearance of a harmonious unit.

Cockpit: integrated and variable

The cockpit of the GTS offers plenty of space to accommodate a handlebar bag if required for a longer tour, a crossing of the Alps or a spontaneous overnighter, without cables and wires getting in the way. Unlike the Aristos R, the head tube is kept straight here to make it easier to integrate the cables, but also to reduce costs. The bike can either be fitted with a classic Syntace handlebar - without flare. But it can also be fitted with carbon handlebars. If desired, the 3D stem of the R series can also be installed, in which case all cables disappear completely.

Drive: single or double

The Aristos GTS is a true "all-you-can-do" frame. It leaves nothing to be desired here either. The same applies to the shifting system - this can be controlled either electrically or mechanically, depending on individual preference and personal philosophy.

Bottom bracket and rear triangle

As with the GT, the bottom bracket of the GTS is not designed as a "press-fit" standard, but as a "T47" with thread, at the request of customers who prefer to build their dream bike themselves. This means that 30 mm aluminum shafts can also be installed, which makes the frame-fork set even more attractive for anyone who wants to build their dream bike with different components. In addition, the bottom bracket has the familiar "service flap" on the underside of the R, which makes the cables easier to access.

Comfort: good feedback

Even on a sporty and touring-oriented bike, comfort should not be neglected in order to allow the rider to enjoy a fatigue-free ride for as long as possible. Good vibration damping is equally indispensable on poor asphalt roads, light gravel tracks or for all-road use.
