The Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST Disc rear wheel gives disc brake road bikes all the advantages of a super-lightweight carbon clincher wheel - and now also offers the low rolling resistance, superior puncture protection and greater riding comfort of Road UST tubeless technology. Whether your racing machine is designed for long-distance adventures or fast climbing stages: the Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST Disc is the best possible upgrade.

At just 405 g, the installed rim is one of the lightest among clincher rims made of carbon - thanks to its special construction with an 80 g lightweight aluminum tire bed insert. It also offers maximum tire fit and impact resistance. An inner width of 17 mm in combination with 25 mm tires results in a high tire volume - for the best riding characteristics, rolling efficiency and comfort.

The Instant Drive 360 freewheel is not only extra light, it also ensures lightning-fast acceleration with an engagement angle of just 9°. The entire wheel construction has been carefully designed to meet the requirements of disc brakes - here the braking forces first act on the hub and are then transferred via the spokes to the rim and ultimately to the road. 24 spokes are arranged on the rear wheel using proprietary Isopulse lacing to guarantee stability and stiffness even under high loads from your acceleration or heavy braking.

The rear wheel is designed ex works for a 12x142 mm thru-axle and can also be converted for quick-release with the included adapters. And the Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST Disc rear wheel is completed with Mavic's Yksion Pro tires, 25 mm wide for maximum rolling efficiency, grip and smooth riding comfort. The Yksion Pro UST tires, which have a 127-TPI carcass and weigh just 260 grams (25 mm width).


Technologies:
The 24 straight-pull and butted aero spokes installed per wheel guarantee high stiffness, low weight and a long service life.

The Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL UST Disc uses the new freehub generation called Instant Drive 360, which results in a perfect hub: low weight, minimal friction, fast engagement, high axle stiffness and enormous durability. And if maintenance or conversion to a different axle standard should be necessary, this is easier than ever before without tools.

Care/maintenance:
Clean with a dry cloth; if necessary also with soapy water. The use of a high-pressure cleaner is strongly discouraged!
