Super Record 13 – In Every Shift. We Do One More.
Since its introduction in 1973, the legendary Super Record series has repeatedly redefined the limits of performance in cycling sports. Developed in collaboration with professional athletes, the current iteration is now set to take on a leading role in terms of shifting speed, ergonomics and handling.
The New Standard in Performance. While gear changes are even faster than with the previous 12-speed components, a wide range of gear ratio options ensures that every rider finds the optimum cadence. However, the Super Record 13 groupset embodies more than just an additional sprocket. It represents a completely new performance concept that forms the platform for Campagnolo's future developments.
More Choice. More Control. Following the launch of the classic 2-speed drivetrain system for road bikes, Campagnolo is expanding the Super Record 13 portfolio to include other areas of application. The introduction of specialized rear derailleur options not only forms the basis for a dedicated 1x13-speed road bike drivetrain, but also for a 2x13-speed Allroad version and the Super Record X model series, which also relies on a 1-speed drivetrain system and clearly focuses on Gravel use. A TT version for time trials and triathlons is also already in the starting blocks.

The expansion of the Super Record 13 platform also includes an Ergopower lever, which adds an additional button to the control and personalization options. The impetus for this solution came directly from racing and is the result of constant contact with athletes. In terms of uncompromising ergonomics and functionality, the "satellite shifter" offers a further option for changing gears. The additional button can be positioned in the rider's preferred cockpit position and optimally meets the individual needs of the respective cyclist – whether in the classic "climber's position" or directly in the drop segment for particularly demanding sprinters.
Apart from the new feature that characterizes the "satellite" brake/shift levers, all the technical innovations of the "conventional" models for the 2x13-speed drivetrain system are of course still available. This includes a comfort-oriented geometry with a large, flat and continuous support surface that ensures a stable and secure grip even after many hours on the saddle. In addition, the carbon levers for braking and shifting are all ergonomically designed to avoid interference with the fingers. The brake lever itself not only has a very finely adjustable "reach" (distance between lever and handlebar), but also features a precisely selected pivot point that enables powerful and precisely modulated deceleration behavior.
For gear changes, the rider is offered a selection of shifters, all of which can be freely configured using the MyCampy app – the right option for every riding style at the preferred position. In addition to a shift lever located directly behind the brake lever blade, which is designed to enable even more natural and responsive gear changes, the Ergopower unit also features the tried-and-tested "thumb shifter". This is integrated into the main part of the lever body and positioned so that it can be easily reached from any hand position, for a precise control in every phase of the ride. The shifting system is completed by the so-called "smart button". Also placed on the inside of the lever body, the button takes over the rider's preferred function, from shift management to controlling the cycling computer or compatible Bluetooth devices. Informations such as battery charge status, connectivity and configuration steps can be monitored using the integrated LED or displayed via compatible apps and devices.
The overall look is rounded off by the elegance of the details, as demonstrated by the brake lever blade with the Super Record lettering and the tone-on-tone brand logo on its inward-facing side. The result is an advanced and sophisticated control system that combines customization, efficiency and comfort in a perfect synthesis that represents the quintessence of Campagnolo's racing experience.
