• Solid 160 contains 40 g of carbohydrates, just like Gel 160 and Drink Mix 160. No matter which fuel mode you choose, with MAURTEN you can keep an eye on your energy intake: The modular system makes it easy for athlete:s to calculate their carbohydrate consumption during training and competition.
• At the request of many athletes, the Solid bar is pre-cut in the middle - making it easy to divide into two equal halves, each containing 20 grams of carbohydrates. This gives you the check you need to structure your training, time your race precisely and optimize your fueling: Eat the whole bar at once or save half for later - whatever suits your plan.
• In response to feedback from athletes that Solid was a little too compact, MAURTEN has adapted the recipe to make the bars easier to consume. To do this, the quantities of individual ingredients were changed and the volume of the bar increased. The revised recipe still contains the same allergens as before, but these are now more clearly labeled on the packaging. Rice bran has also been removed.
