SmartEVO Compound

This compound for road use is the result of Pirelli's many years of motorsport experience and collaboration with the pro teams of the World Tour. The SmartEVO compound is based on three different polymers, each of which offers the best performance in different areas in a perfect ratio. The unique composition of the polymers with their particularities are the core elements of the SmartEVO compound, which provides better grip and less rolling resistance in all weather conditions. The SmartEVO compound is a high-performance compound developed for modern road cycling, from daily training to World Tour racing. This compound is an exclusive feature of the P ZERO range.

TechBELT

A carcass based on a 120 tpi fabric. The carcass structure has an additional ply which, with its cut and puncture resistant fabric directly under the tread, offers superior puncture protection in a wide range of conditions.

Pirelli SmarTUBE TPU Inner tube

The P ZERO SmarTUBE is the Pirelli's most advanced inner tube in the range. It was developed to meet the lightness and handling requirements of professional World Tour riders. The first application took place at P ZERO Race Tub SL. It is now also available for every amateur cyclist.

The standard butyl inner tube has been replaced by TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), an advanced plastic material characterized by elasticity and mechanical strength. The result is an inner tube that can be up to 70% lighter, up to 50% more compact and more puncture resistant than an equivalent butyl inner tube.

The P ZERO SmarTUBE is the ultimate advancement for cyclists who still use the standard wire bead tires setup and want to improve the performance of their bikes, as well as for those looking for a lightweight and compact replacement tube for tubeless tires.
