The focus was not on the lowest weight, but on maximum aerodynamics and efficiency. Together with UAE Team Emirates – XRG, an even more ambitious vision emerged: a wheelset that retains the aerodynamic advantages of the SES 4.5 while achieving the lightness of top-class mountain wheels.

In WorldTour racing, aerodynamics, low weight, and compliance with regulations are crucial. The SES 4.5 PRO was specifically developed for the demands of professionals and meets all the requirements of the associations. On smooth roads, 28mm tires are often used when low weight is a priority.

Since the classic SES 4.5 is usually ridden with 30mm tires, ENVE took the opportunity to develop a specially tuned aero climbing wheelset, not an all-rounder, but a precise tool for maximum performance at WorldTour speeds.
