Technical details of the 5DEV bottom bracket

• thread: T47 (47 x 1.0 mm)
• crank shaft diameter: 28.99 mm (SRAM DUB)

Bottom brackets with bearing cups located inside the frame only work with wider bottom bracket shells (86.5 mm or wider). To use a 5DEV crank shaft with a narrower shell dimension, a T47 bottom bracket with external bearing cups (outboard type) is required.

Scope of supply:

• bearing cups (left + right) with pressed-in radial ball bearings (XD15 DUB BB CXD-15)
• 1 connecting sleeve
• 2 washers
• 3 spacers (1 / 2 / 3 mm)
• 1 packet of assembly paste (anti-seize)

Manufacturer's instructions: 5DEV explicitly points out that its bottom brackets are a product for professional use, whose installation requires the use of suitable lube, compliance with the respective torque specifications as well as the appropriate experience. If you are unsure, it is not recommended to install the bottom bracket yourself. The use of unsuitable assembly paste or failure to perform proper routine maintenance, titanium can become lodged in the thread of the frame and irreparably damage both.
