Weighing just 256 grams in size 420mm x 100mm, the CADEX Race handlebar-stem unit is designed specifically for long, hilly days when every gram and every bit of comfort counts. A reach of 72mm and 125mm drops provide smooth and natural transitions, while an 11-degree flare increases control. Internal cable routing keeps the cockpit clean and improves aerodynamics. With many different sizes available, it's easy to find the perfect fit for every rider.

Technologies

One-piece composite construction

The one-piece, adhesive-free manufacturing process uses high-quality carbon fibers and a precision layup process similar to that used to manufacture CADEX wheelsets. The result is a super-strong, responsive handlebar with best-in-class weight.

Precise carbon layup

High-strength carbon fibers and heat-resistant resins in the relevant areas of the rim ensure high stiffness while maintaining ride comfort and stability without adding weight.

• The T800 and T1100 carbon fiber layup offers ultra-light weight without compromising strength and stiffness.
• The one-piece, non-bonded construction of the drops, hoods, and upper handlebars utilizes CADEX precision layup technology to reduce additional weight and improve flexibility found in traditionally bonded handlebars.
• The compact reach provides a quick transition between the upper handlebars and hoods for added control when changing hand positions.
• Flat drops for quick and easy transition from hoods to drops.
• Flare for total control when sprinting, attacking, and descending.
• The narrower position on the hoods combined with wide drops provides watt-saving efficiency and control.
• Integrated handlebar and stem construction and internal cable routing for improved aerodynamic performance.
• Includes computer mount.
• Compatible only with 1 1/8" steerer tubes
