Fizik Tempo Aliante R1 Light Saddle - 155mm

A lightweight endurance road bike saddle with a contoured profile, built for long-lasting comfort - with EVA foam padding, carbon rails, and a pressure-relieving cutout to keep long rides smooth and comfortable.  

With a focus on long-lasting comfort for riders who spend many hours on the saddle, the Aliante R1 Light combines the support of a contoured profile with pressure relief from a wide central cutout. EVA foam padding minimizes the impact of rough road surfaces, while the combination of carbon rails and a carbon-reinforced nylon shell further reduces weight without compromising comfort.

R1 Light construction

Designed for low weight and high-performance riding, the R1 Light construction combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with ultra-stiff carbon rails for a responsive, lightweight platform. Injected EVA padding provides low-profile, reactive damping that offers comfort and support without compromising the ergonomic shape or adding thickness. The result: a saddle that reduces weight without compromise - ideal for long, fast days in the saddle.

All-day comfort

Aliante is a contoured saddle with a gradual, tapered transition from the wings to the nose. With a slightly wider platform to support the sit bones, it improves stability and weight distribution for all-day rides. With a focus on comfort, the newly redesigned Aliante features a flatter surface to distribute pressure more evenly and provide a balanced ride feel - especially helpful on rides of length.

Engineered pressure relief

Aliante features an ergonomic cutout developed with detailed analysis and input from scientific experts to help reduce pressure and promote blood circulation. In addition, generous padding is designed to provide more and softer support for all riders, regardless of riding position, without creating excessive pressure.
