Features of the Petzl Meteor helmet:

Lightweight, compact, and ventilated helmet:

• Only 235 g in size S/M and 245 g in size M/L.
• In-mold construction with an inner shell made of EPS foam, which is injected under a thin outer shell made of polycarbonate and ensures a compact fit on the head.
• Large ventilation openings of different sizes for maximum air circulation.

Easy to adjust and equip with accessories: 

• The semi-rigid headband is easy to adjust, even when wearing gloves.
• OMEGA headband with a generous recess for hair of length tied back in a ponytail.
• Chin strap with minimalist buckle with a locking cover to prevent accidental release.
• Two headlamp clips at the front and an elastic band at the back for attaching a headlamp.
• The headband can be stowed in the helmet shell for storage and transport.

Enhanced head protection for sport climbing and mountaineering: 

• Designed in accordance with the Petzl TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION label.
• Head-enclosing design for optimal impact protection on the sides, front, and back of the head.

Environmentally friendly design and repairability:

• The helmet is made from 18% bio-based or recycled materials.
• Comfort padding and buckle are available as replacement equipment to extend the life of the helmet.

Note: The helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 18100: 2024 standard for ski touring helmets.
