Wechsel Zephyr 1 Tent - Thyme

The Zephyr 1 is a 1-person hybrid tent with a spacious vestibule – ideal for solo trips. Thanks to the external poles, it can be pitched and taken down particularly quickly. Two aluminum nodes in the carbon poles ensure high wind stability. An additional ridge pole reliably protects the inner tent from rain. At each end there is a fabric quiver for storing a trekking pole. This further improves wind stability. With its light and handy pack size, the Zephyr 1 is particularly suitable for backpacking and bikepacking. Inside, the tent offers a comfortable sitting height and, thanks to its asymmetrical cut, enough space to store a backpack. The inner tent is largely made of mosquito netting and ensures optimal ventilation while protecting against insects. Although it is designed as a 1-person tent, it can accommodate two people in an emergency. The sturdy 39 cm pole segments made of high-quality carbon ensure maximum strength with minimum weight. Combined with tear-resistant, durable materials, the Zephyr 1 is a reliable hiking and bicycle tent that can withstand even demanding conditions.

Quick setup
Thanks to the external poles and the pre-attached inner tent, the Zephyr can be set up in one go. If you're setting up in the rain, you'll be dry in no time. If the ground is too hard, you can do without the pegs if necessary. The tent is freestanding and only the vestibule needs to be tensioned.

Trekking pole holder
There are fabric quivers at the ends of the ridge pole for storing trekking poles. This provides additional stability to the tent structure and increases wind resistance – ideal for challenging conditions.

Asymmetrical inner tent
The asymmetrical layout of the inner tent has been an integral part of our tent range since the very beginning – and is the distinctive feature of our Outpost and Tempest tunnel tents. With the Zephyr 1, Wechsel now presents its first hybrid tent with an asymmetrical inner tent design. The key advantage: additional storage space where your equipment can be stored reliably and organized.
