With its radial tires, Schwalbe is turning the mtb world upside down—and the Albert is no exception. The basis for this is the completely redesigned carcass construction. While the carcass plies in conventional bicycle tires run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle, in radial tires they are arranged at a significantly more obtuse angle. This technology opens up entirely new dimensions in bicycle tire performance.

ECE-R75 (E-50) | Tires bearing the ECE-R75 certification mark are approved for bikes traveling up to 50 km/h.

Tubeless Ready (TLR) | Lower rolling resistance, more grip, high puncture resistance. The advantages of tubeless systems are well known. Tires with the TLR designation can be easily converted to the tubeless standard using sealant. Also suitable for hookless rims.
