With its radial tires, Schwalbe is turning the mtb world upside down, and the Albert is no exception. The basis for this is the completely redesigned carcass construction. The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle in conventional bicycle tires, are arranged at a significantly flatter angle in radial tires. This technology opens up entirely new dimensions in bicycle tire performance.

ECE-R75 (E-50) | Tires bearing the ECE-R75 certification mark are approved for bikes up to 50 km/h.

Tubeless Ready (TLR) | Less rolling resistance, more grip, high puncture resistance. The advantages of tubeless systems are well known. Tires with the TLR designation can be easily converted to the tubeless standard using sealant. Also suitable for hookless rims.
