The Schwalbe Tacky Chan was developed over two years of World Cup use. Among others, overall winner Amaury Pierron contributed his experience to the tires’ design. It features shoulder lugs that are 10% stiffer than those of the Magic Mary and has been 100% optimized for precision. This enables super-aggressive cornering and an extremely late braking point. The open shoulder area provides direct feedback and improves self-cleaning. Additionally, the ramps on the center knobs ensure optimal rolling characteristics.

The Tacky Chan tires are now available as radial versions in new sizes. The radial version features a tread pattern specifically optimized for radial tires—it is slightly more closed for a smoother ride feel and more grip, control, and safety.

TRAIL PRO | A versatile pro option for classic trail riding with an excellent balance between weight and protection. Features APEX reinforcement, a fabric-backed protective pad that improves sidewall stability and puncture resistance while keeping weight low.

ECE-R75 (E-50) | Tires bearing the ECE-R75 mark are approved for bikes up to 50 km/h.

Tubeless Ready (TLR) | Lower rolling resistance, more grip, high puncture resistance. The advantages of tubeless systems are well known. Tires with the TLR designation can be easily converted to the tubeless standard using sealant. Also suitable for hookless rims.
