Ridley Grifn - A bicycle for everything

The Grifn is built for long, challenging rides where you can discover new routes and experience particularities. In developing it, Ridley combined the speed of a road bike with the comfort of a gravel bike, for a riding experience without limits. With tire clearance up to 38mm, it’s just as suited for the road as it is for off-road riding.  It also offers the option to install fenders and dynamo-powered lighting, making the Grifn ideal for commuting and long-distance rides.

Details of the Ridley Grifn

The Grifn frees you from the constraints of route selection: asphalt or gravel, racing or adventure—anything is possible. Whether you want to ride your road bike off-road or explore classic road bike routes on a gravel bike, the Grifn is the perfect solution.

The name Grifn is derived from the mythical griffin—a creature with the body of a lion and the wings of an eagle. As a symbol of the connection between two worlds, it epitomizes the versatility of this bicycle. With the Grifn, both fast road bike routes and impressive gravel tours are within reach.

Optimized tire clearance

Up to 40 mm tire width with 1x drivetrain and 38 mm with 2x – ideal for gravel, but also for extra-wide road tires that offer more comfort on long tours. Versatility as it should be.

Customizable setup thanks to clever mounting points

With 11 mounting points, the Grifn can be perfectly tailored to your needs: three on the down tube, three on the seat tube, two on the top tube (including a cover)—plus options for bags, tools, or bottle cages.

All-road geometry for maximum control

The geometry lies between a road bike and a gravel bike—responsive and agile on asphalt, stable off-road. Developed with input from pros, it delivers optimal handling on any surface.

Hidden cable routing for dynamo and taillight

The fork is dynamo-compatible—cables run internally, completely without cable ties. The taillight cable can also be discreetly routed through the top tube. Everything is clean and integrated.
