Hills like walls, rough cobblestones, folk festival atmosphere and merciless finish sprints: This is Belgium. This is where Ridley was born. In the country where cycling originated. With Belgian toughness in its genes and a passion for cycling in its blood, the Flemish brand aims to build the fastest bikes on and off the road: from André Greipels Noah Fast to the X-Trail Gravelbike. » Read more

Inspired by his brothers and the great Eddy Merckx, born in a country where children can ride their bicycles before taking their first steps, and where every Sunday there is at least one cycling race speeding through Flanders, Jochim Aerts dreamed of making a name for himself in the world of cycling. Dissatisfied with the bikes available, Aerts discovered his talent for craftsmanship and, after a few years as a painter, welder, frame builder and supplier to various Belgian bicycle shops, founded his own brand in 1997: Ridley Bikes.
The inventors of the conical head tube set new standards in the bicycle industry and, as sponsors, collected world championship titles in cyclocross and road cycling as well as stage victories and green jerseys in the Tour de France. Outstanding sprinters such as Robbie McEwen and André Greipel or ten-time world champion and two-time Olympic champion Marianne Vos love the masterfully aerodynamic and meticulously individually designed Ridley bikes.
A lot has happened since Noah first saw the light of day at the Tour de France 2006. Australian sprint star Robbie McEwen wanted a bike that would translate every single pedal stroke into forward motion. The result of this collaboration was the then stiffest bicycle in the Peleton, with which McEwen brought the green jersey of the best sprinter directly to Paris.
Thanks to further collaborations with world-class cycling pros, this sprinting machine has become a true all-round talent, winning aero prices and setting new standards in terms of aerodynamics: the Noah Fast. Months of testing in the wind tunnel and extensive feedback from André Greipel, who repeatedly pushed the limits for the engineers on the Belgian race track in Zolder, have ensured a feather-light, extremely comfortable aero wonder.
Ridley's F-Steerer technology ensures that all cables can be integrated into the frame and handlebars and that no bolts are visible, making the bike not only more aerodynamic but also more elegant. To further reduce aerodynamic drag, golf ball-like recesses have been incorporated in strategic locations. When the wind starts blowing stronger, this F-Surface Plus technology allows the main airflow to follow the shape of the tube, minimizing wind resistance.
With so much acceleration and speed, you naturally need strong brakes. The disc brake version of the Noah Fast offers you optimal braking performance in all weather conditions. And all that – depending on the equipment – with a total weight between 7 and 7.5 kg.
With the Jane, Ridley has a version of the Noah on offer, which features special women-specific components and adaptations. Longer head tubes, a shorter stem and a handlebar with a narrower bend make riding at the limit an even greater pleasure for women. Thanks to FAST technology, the Jane is aerodynamically powerful and brings every watt to the road with the right drive.
The Fenix offers a perfect blend of performance and comfort for both professional and amateur cyclists, for the after-hour session at home, the pavement classic in Flanders or the next cycling marathon. The all-round road bike is available with carbon or aluminium frames and with rim or disc brakes. No matter in which version, you will be able to sit comfortably in the saddle all day long and enjoy the grandiose propulsion, thanks to the diamond-shaped tubes and lowered seat stays, among other things.
Liz, the Fenix's versatile sister bike, masters even the toughest tracks with longer head tubes, shorter stem and handlebars with narrower curves. It's light, stable and ready for extended rides.
If you love to play in the mud, fly along wild trails and cool downhills in the woods, or speed over gravel roads, the X-Trail, X-Night and X-Ride will be perfect for you. If you're into adventure and want to break new ground, the X-Trail will be your first choice. From asphalt to gravel, across country or through really rough terrain, the stiff and comfortable Gravelbike is perfect for riding anywhere.
Do you want to give your all in off-road conditions, drive even faster on every turn and be catapulted forward with every kick? Then the X-Night is your reactive ally. Equipped with many clever details like the internal cable routing and a flattened down tube for a pleasant riding feel, it is an ideal bike for cyclocross competitions and victories.
The X-Ride is the relaxed brother of the X-Night and will inspire you both at cyclocross races or on technical trails as well as on your trip to work. In terms of technology and components, identical to the X-Night, the X-Ride features an aluminum frame with less aggressive geometry for more comfort and versatility.
